Trainee Psychiatrists, Foundation Doctors and Medical Students based in North West Division are invited to submit their research and audit work for consideration of presentation at the Autumn Conference of the North West Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
This is a competitive process and the prestige of having your work selected is increasingly being recognised. Your research or audit can be on any topic, it does not need to match the theme of the Conference. There will be two categories: Medical Student/FY1 and Trainee Psychiatrist/FY2. The North West Division Executive Committee will select the best submissions for presentation in poster format and you will have the opportunity to exhibit your poster and discuss your work at lunch time. A prize will be awarded for the best poster in each category.
The Autumn Conference should be informative and interesting, we would like to have you there to display your work, but we would like you to come even if you don’t have any work to display at this meeting.
This competition is open to all FY1 grades/Medical Students and Trainee psychiatrists/FY2 grades who are currently studying/working in North West Division or have studied/worked in North West Division in the 12 months prior to the date of the conference.
Please contact Leanne Lane llane@rcpsych.ac.uk for an application form and guidance.
Deadline for submission of abstracts is noon on Friday 4 September 2015
