The Royal College of Psychiatrists

Celebrating and Promoting Diversity in the Psychiatric Workforce

Join us at this fantastic event aimed at International Medical Graduates (IMGs), their trainers, and Widening Access to Specialty Training (WAST) trainees to share good practice and explore and celebrate diversity in the psychiatric workforce.

At our ‘World Café’ you will be able to rotate through sessions and find out more about how best to support IMGs from Heads of School and mentors, how to use drama to improve communication skills and the importance of shaping language as a constructive tool in mental health care.

Why should I attend?

•             Listen to sessions on diversity in education leadership, differential attainment and doctors’ wellbeing

•             Network with IMGs, IMG trainers, and WAST trainees

•             Share ideas and best practice on how to support International Medical Graduates
