Theme: Research and updates in Psychiatry

The fourth North of England Congress will highlight some of the amazing research/work that is being led by local academic experts in psychiatry and to inform/share this with consultants, trainees and medical students from all around the North of England.
The event is open to all psychiatrists, foundation students, medical students and anyone else with an interest in Mental Health.

There is a charge to attend the conference. However all funds raised will go back to the MRCPsych budget to ensure that we can continue delivering the brilliant teaching sessions and events across the School of Psychiatry scheme for trainers and trainees alike.

Fees are as follows: £50 for Consultants, Higher Psychiatry Trainees and Staff Grade Doctors. With a £25 fee for Core Psychiatry Trainees.

There is no charge for Foundation Trainees and Medical Students to attend, however a booking form must still be completed.

Call for Posters:
There is an opportunity for medical students, foundation year doctors and trainees to present a poster at this regional event, with the audience selecting prizes for the best posters in 2 categories – ‘Medical Student/Foundation doctors’ and ‘Trainees’.

Please be aware that the Poster Presentation will need to be A1 size.

Please submit abstracts by the 31st October 2019 (200 words max –
abstract/methods/results/discussion) to Claire.mcnally@hee.nhs.uk and
latha.hackett@mft.nhs.uk.

Refreshments will be available with a hot/cold buffet lunch provided.
